Job Summary:

As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of multiple Data, Analytics, and AI projects within a customer account or geography. You will ensure seamless project delivery, optimize resource allocation, drive strategic alignment, and mitigate risks. In addition to overseeing project managers, you will also act as a hands-on PM for selected critical projects, ensuring direct involvement where needed. Your leadership will ensure project teams deliver value-driven outcomes while maintaining high client and team satisfaction.

Key Outcomes Expected:

·      100% on-time delivery of all projects under the portfolio.

·      95%+ client satisfaction by ensuring high-quality execution and strategic alignment.

·      Zero major escalations through proactive risk and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Portfolio Management:

·      Oversee and manage the execution of multiple Data, Analytics, and AI projects within an account or geography.

·      Act as a hands-on PM for critical or high-risk projects, ensuring direct engagement when needed.

·      Develop and maintain an integrated delivery roadmap for all projects in the portfolio.

·      Ensure alignment with customer objectives, budgets, and strategic goals.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

·      Serve as the primary escalation point for project-related issues within the portfolio.

·      Conduct regular executive reviews with clients, ensuring transparency on delivery status and business impact.

·      Foster long-term relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.

·      Ensure a <24-hour response time for critical client concerns and escalations.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management:

·      Drive 100% adherence to data governance, security, and AI regulatory requirements.

·      Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce project risks by 30%.

·      Proactively track risks and implement mitigation strategies, maintaining <5% critical issue rate.

Resource & Financial Management:

·      Optimize resource allocation across projects, ensuring maximum efficiency and utilization (>85%).

·      Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring <5% deviation from planned costs.

·      Support hiring, training, and retention strategies to build a high-performing project management team.

Agile, Automation & Delivery Excellence:

·      Ensure the adoption of best practices in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project management methodologies.

·      Standardize reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking across all projects.

·      Implement automation and AI-driven tools to streamline project execution, reduce manual effort, and enable non-linear delivery models.

·      Drive continuous process improvements, achieving 20%+ increase in productivity annually.

·      Leverage Gen AI-based project monitoring and predictive analytics to identify risks and optimize delivery timelines.

Team Leadership & Culture Building:

·      Mentor and guide Project Managers, ensuring consistent and high-quality project execution.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·      Relevant certifications in Azure or AWS are a plus.

 

Must Have Technical Skills:

·      12+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, and AI project delivery

·      Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within a large account or geography.

·      Strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and risk management skills.

·      Experience in resource optimization, financial planning, and budget control.

·      Hands-on Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project management experience.

·      Familiarity with data engineering, analytics platforms, AI/ML model lifecycle, and data governance.

·      Experience in implementing automation and AI-driven processes for improving efficiency.

·      Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Trello, Asana.

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

 

Nice to Have Skills:

·      Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) analytics projects.

·      Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.

·      Exposure to Generative AI and AI-driven automation solutions.

·      PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
