Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in T24 database management, data warehousing, and a strong understanding of banking products. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our team, leveraging their knowledge to analyze and optimize data from the Temenos T24 core banking system, support data warehousing initiatives, and contribute to strategic decision making!
Job Responsibilities:
➢ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to banking operations and data analytics, leveraging knowledge of T24 database structures and data warehousing principles.
➢ Design and develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to populate and maintain data warehouses with information from the Temenos T24 core banking system.
➢ Conduct thorough analysis of T24 database structures and data models to optimize data extraction and ensure alignment with business requirements.
➢ Work closely with IT teams and data engineers to implement and optimize data warehousing
solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.
➢ Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency of data between T24 database and data warehouses.
➢ Develop and maintain documentation of data warehousing processes, including data mappings,
transformation rules, and quality assurance procedures.
➢ Analyze and interpret data from data warehouses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
➢ Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for data warehousing processes, addressing issues and optimizing performance as needed.
➢ Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data management, data warehousing, and banking technology, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
➢ Facilitate training sessions and knowledge transfer to end-users and stakeholders on data
warehousing processes and best practices.
Experience / Qualification:
➢ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
➢ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry.
➢ Strong knowledge of Temenos T24 database structures and data models, with hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
➢ Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages, with the ability to write complex queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
➢ Experience working with data warehouses and familiarity with data warehousing principles, methodologies, and tools.
➢ Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
➢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
➢ Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
➢ Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within specified timelines.
